I love Soviet-era commieblock areas and buildings both in former USSR and in Eastern Europe. Highway ("Magistraal" in Estonian) takes me through such areas and some nice blocks are located right next to them. When walking in Elva, I discovered that there is another block area, a place called Käärdi which borders Elva. I had no idea of it before, didn't even know the name, but my Estonian Road atlas revealed this to me so I just walked there from Elva. These are mostly Nisu and Rukki streets.
