First South Estonia.
On the way from Põlva to Otepää.
Piigaste pansionaat, Põlva county. This nice building right next to a road on a curve was a nice surprise.
Pikajärve, Põlva county.
Taba, Põlva county.
It looks like this place has seen better times in the past...
Bus stop name is Tuleviku, that is, Future.
Pilkuse near Otepää, Valga county.
Vapramäe near Elva, Tartu county.
Right after Otepää, Pühajärve village.
View over silent Pühajärv (Holy lake).
Sihva village, Valga county, on the way to Kääriku. Two blocks further away from other blocks.
Kaagjärve, Valga county. There is a separate post for blocks but here are only the old houses from another viewpoint.
Lootvina, Põlva county.
Half of the block renovated...
Orava, Põlva county. Local school.
Sääl oll eski võro keeleh pääle kirotet. / The writing was in Võro.
Piusa, Põlva county.
Interesting house, has nice architectural elements :)
Savikoda (Clay house).
Visitors' centre. The sand area with caves is quite close behind this house.
Now to other areas.
Laulasmaa, Harju county. Hotel seen from far away, from Klooga beach I think.
Rohuküla, Lääne county. Very nice harbour building.
I love Soviet-era commieblock areas and buildings both in former USSR and in Eastern Europe. Highway ("Magistraal" in Estonian) takes me through such areas and some nice blocks are located right next to them. I am happy that I can enjoy these buildings and areas in my hometown Tallinn every day. (In case you wanted to see shopping mall Magistral in Mustamäe, please go to https://magistral.ee.)
